Hello, my name is Cherry Tan. I teach Grade 9 & 10 English and IB Literature and Language & Literature at Chinese International School Manila. I am also head of the Upper School English department and of English K-12 Curriculum.
To say I love teaching and literature would be an understatement. There is nothing quite like witnessing the bloom of comprehension and later of appreciation on a child’s face after he or she has struggled with a text or with writing.
